A Message from the Principal
We have officially crossed the finish line of our state testing season, and I could not be more proud of our students. Over the last few weeks, I’ve watched them approach their assessments with incredible focus, grit, and a "can-do" attitude. They have worked exceptionally hard to showcase what they’ve learned this year, and while we are glad the testing window is closing, the perseverance they demonstrated is a win in itself.
While we still have a month of learning to go, we are excited to also focus on celebrating our accomplishments, community and the many talents of our students. The coming weeks are packed with some of our favorite annual traditions! We are looking forward to the creativity on display at our Art Show on May 20th , the high energy of the Hopkins Hustle Fundraiser on May 15th, and to kick off our new tradition with Hopkins first Career Day on May 11th. We will be able to welcome our newest Hornets for 2026-2027 with a Kindergarten Open House for pre-registered Kindergarten students on May 6th.
Finally, we will round-out the year with Field Day on May 22nd and our Kindergarten (May 19th) and 5th Grade (May 28th) Celebrations!
Thank you to our PTA and our community for your continued support in making these opportunities possible for our children.
Erin’s Law Speak Up presentations will be shared in classes the week of May 18th. Opt out and preview information has been shared in previous communications. Please reach out if you have any questions.
Please note that the Annual Update in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal is open for the 2026-2027 school year. Please update your child’s records/enrollment for the next school year. This information must be complete for students to participate in many of the fun “extras” like field trips each year and of course helps us keep up to date contact and medical information to ensure students’ safety.
Let’s make these final weeks of the school year the best ones yet!
Sincerely,
