A Message from the Principal

I hope you all had an enjoyable Spring Break. Our students have started the final grading period strong. We met in grade levels to review our expectations to be Safe, Kind, Respectful and Responsible and our 5th grade ambassadors will meet with students next week to highlight these topics in more depth with each class. Since we’ve been back, we also practiced a tornado drill, as we do regularly this time of year. 

When we return from the long weekend, our 5th graders will participate in the ELA Ohio State Test on Wednesday and Thursday. Please review the testing calendar below if your child is in grades 3-5 to ensure your child is in attendance and on time to school on the dates of testing. 

This time of year, we begin to reflect on the current school year and plan for next year. We are always eager to hear parent input to allow us to continue to make Hopkins Elementary a great place for students to learn and grow. Please take some time to complete the anonymous parent survey shared in the BeeLine if you’d like to provide feedback about your experiences at Hopkins this year. We appreciate this input.
